Role Overview
We're looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to drive user acquisition and retention for PrizeTrail. You'll own both paid and organic growth channels, run experiments to optimize our marketing funnel, and scale our user base through data-driven strategies. This individual will also be a part of our Outreach team and attend in-person events like Marathon/5K race events to promote PrizeTrail.
This role is ideal for a marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves analyzing data to find growth opportunities, enjoys occasional events, and has experience with mobile app marketing. You'll work closely with product and engineering to align marketing efforts with product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute user acquisition strategies across paid and organic channels
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Apple Search Ads, Google Ads, social media)
- Lead App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts to improve organic discovery and conversion
- Identify, recruit, and manage influencer partnerships and collaborations
- Attend events like marathons running events and other sporting events to promote PrizeTrail
- Analyze campaign performance and user behavior to inform marketing decisions
- Create and A/B test ad creatives, landing pages, and marketing copy
- Build and manage referral programs and viral growth loops
- Track and report on key growth metrics (CAC, LTV, retention, conversion rates)
- Stay current with mobile marketing trends, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with product team to optimize user onboarding and activation
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in growth marketing, preferably for mobile apps
- Proven track record of driving measurable user acquisition results
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns with meaningful budgets
- Strong understanding of App Store Optimization (ASO) principles
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar)
- Experience with attribution platforms (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, or similar)
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze metrics and derive insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience marketing health, fitness, or gamification apps
- Background in influencer marketing and creator partnerships
- Experience with TikTok, Meta, and Google content marketing
- Basic design skills for creating ad creatives
- Understanding of subscription-based business models
- SQL or data analysis experience
