Role Overview
We're looking for a Business Development Representative to build and nurture partnerships that fuel PrizeTrail's growth. You'll identify and engage potential brand partners, corporate wellness programs, and advertising opportunities to expand our revenue streams and user reach.
This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality who enjoys building relationships and closing deals. You'll work directly with leadership to develop partnership strategies and be instrumental in scaling our business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential brand partners, advertisers, and corporate wellness programs
- Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings with decision-makers
- Present PrizeTrail's value proposition to potential partners
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of partnership opportunities
- Collaborate with leadership to negotiate and close partnership deals
- Build and maintain relationships with existing partners
- Track all activities and opportunities in CRM systems
- Research market trends and identify new partnership categories
- Represent PrizeTrail at virtual and in-person networking events
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/partnership targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in remote environment
- Organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience in health, fitness, or wellness industry
- Background in mobile app partnerships or advertising sales
- Experience with corporate wellness program sales
- Existing network of brand or advertising contacts
- Understanding of mobile advertising ecosystem
